Indications:
The preparation is used in inflammations of superficial veins and in early post-thrombophlebitis complex. Auxiliary in treatment of chronic venous failure with the following symptoms: edema, exudates, etc., and also in prevention of post-operative edema, in order to eliminate hematoma caused by a blow or injection.
Action:
Horse-chestnut seed extract acts as an antiexudative and antiedematous agent; decreases the fragility of blood vessels; restores elasticity and proper tone of blood vessel walls. It also increases the efficiency of venous circulation, prevents venostasis and formation of edema.
