Nifuroxazide 200 mg
Indications:
Acute and long-lasting diarrhoea in bacterial infections of the alimentary tract.
Action:
Antibacterial effect in case of most bacterial enterites. The product is effective for Gram-positive Staphylococcus and Streptococcus, as well as Gram-negative micro-organisms (Salmonella, Shigella, Klebsiella, Escherichia). It has no effect on bacteria of the kinds Proteus, Pseudomonas or Providentia. The product does not harm the proper microbiological balance of the alimentary tract.
The product acts quickly, only in the intestinal lumen and is not absorbed from the alimentary tract, thus preventing a general effect. It is quickly excreted from the organism.
