Action:
Glucosamine occurs naturally in human body– mainly in cartilages, tendons and ligaments. It improves the mobility of joints and stimulates synthesis of the connective tissue. It takes part in the formation of synovial fluid which facilitates movement in the joints and protects parts of joints from frictions. Chondroitine sulphate promotes the formation and maintainance of a proper structure of the connective tissue, is responsible for the proper functioning, elasticity and mechanical properties of a cartilage. Selenium has antioxidant properties – it eliminates oxygen free radicals which damage the surface of cartilages. Vitamin PP /niacin/, as coenzymes' component, takes part in oxidation-reduction processes in the body. Niacin inhibits the synthesis of nitrogen oxide - it enhances the production of proteoglycans and collagen by the chondrocytes, components necessary for articular cartilage repair.
