Indications:
Immediate symptomatic treatment of acute, dry cough of a different etiology, not related to the secretion remaining in the respiratory tract.
Action:
Dextrometorphan acts on the centre of cough in the medulla, by enhancing its threshold of sensitivity and thus suppressing the cough reflex.
