Indications:
Preventively:
- supplementary to diet poor in green and yellow fruit and vegetables, especially in winter, in ecologically polluted areas
- in people exposed to stress
- to improve appearance of skin, hair and nails.
Action:
Beta-carotene, as anti-oxidant, protects cells against harmful influence of free radicals, damaging cell membrane structure and having bad influence on cell division. Beta-carotene is pro-vitamin of vitamin A, conditioning proper process of seeing, epithelial cell development and cell membrane structure. Vitamin E inhibits oxidation of multi-unsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin E acts synergically with beta-carotene.
